Handbuilt Mugs: Teen Pottery

Class Description
In this hands-on pottery class, teens will explore the art of handbuilding, creating their own unique mugs from clay. In the first session, students will focus on constructing their mugs. Then, in the second session, students will learn the technique of sgraffito, carving intricate patterns into their mugs once they are dry. With an emphasis on creativity and personal expression, this class offers a fun and artistic way to develop skills in pottery while making functional, one-of-a-kind pieces. Members: $67 Non-members: $85 Please note, ICAC members' prices for youth classes apply only to youth covered under Family Memberships or youth who hold Student Memberships.

ICAC Class Cancellation Policy
At ICAC, we try to provide you with high-quality instructors, classes, workshops, and facilities. Our instructors must be booked well in advance and they begin planning and purchasing materials in preparation for the class. Because of this, the ICAC has a 2-week cancellation policy. All cancellation requests must be submitted to the ICAC a minimum of 2 weeks (10 business days) before the scheduled start date to be eligible for a refund. Refunds will be issueds using the original method of payment whenever possible and are subject to a $10 administrative fee. If we do not have the minimum number of registrants, then the class will be cancelled. Often, we are required to make this decision early, so that our members have not invested money into materials. If a class is cancelled, a refund will be issued.
