Parent’s Day Out! – 1 Spot Left
Need a Saturday to get some Christmas shopping done? or just a quiet day to yourself?
The ICAC is offering a Parent’s Day Out on Saturday, December 11th from 9:30-2:00.
Children will participate in a gingerbread house class in the morning, a break for lunch(prepacked nut-free lunch from home), and complete the afternoon with a card marking class. This event is for School-aged children (JK-Grade 8). Both classes will be instructed by Audiranna DeSouza, ICAC’s Programs/Classes Rep.

Glass Taster- Introduction to Fusing
NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!
This fun workshop will introduce you to the world of glass fusing. Learn from an accomplished artist (all tools and materials provided). Participants will create a 6”x6” plate or a 6″ Christmas tree.
Learn about the amazing properties & possibilities that glass offers the artist
Learn how to cut glass safely with different styles of cutters
Learn about firing and annealing, and how it can be surprising!
Explore colour combinations and textures with glass.
Please wear long pants, closed-toed shoes and avoid loose, flowing clothing.

Ingersoll Creative Arts Centre has Reopened
The Centre is open to the public. Mask must be worn inside the building. Everyone entering the Centre must sign in and sanitize their hands.
Studio times are available for members to sign up to ensure the Centre does not exceed its allotted numbers in each space. Even when working at your workstation you must wear your mask.
Larger gatherings may require a timeslot or a ticket through Eventbrite with an entry time. Further information for each event will be found on our social media event pages and in our Friendly Fridays newsletter.

What’s new at the Centre.
PLEASE RESPECT COVID-19 PROTOCOLS
The Reopening Committee has drafted the following plan and guidelines. All public health directives will be followed including limiting the number of people allowed in the building at any given time.
For the health and safety of all, members will need to sign up for scheduled studio time at the Centre and will be required to adhere to the following guidelines. Contact your art group representative to be added to the schedule for studio time.
• Respect your scheduled studio time
• Enter/sign-in and exit/sign-out at the main door
• Wear a face mask (cloth is fine) – face shields not accepted
• Immediately sanitize/wash your hands upon arrival
• Maintain at least 2 meters of physical distance
• Wash your workstation before and after use
• Eat at your workstation, outdoors, or in your vehicle
• Bring and take home your own mug, and any eating utensils
• Bring your own PPE (personal protection equipment), hand sanitizer, wipes, face mask
