Margaret E Charron
Marg Charron`s love of nature and creating art began as a young child and continued throughout her university art studies.
“As a young Catholic mother of seven, the priorities of nature, colour and design became vegetable gardens, flower beds, interior design and sewing clothes for everyone, myself included. Baked goods and fruits became still life drawings in stolen moments. I made portraits of little faces and their body language. ”
A long-time member of Ingersoll Creative Arts Centre, Marg volunteered to help renovate the current building and paint the portable walls. She continues to volunteer and has attended many watercolour painting classes “with excellent teachers” over the years.
Marg has exhibited her watercolour paintings in solo, group and juried shows in Oxford County including the yearly ICAC`s Members` Show. Her work is included in many private collections.
“These paintings are silhouettes. I paint the outer forms while contemplating the inner forces of all life.”
