Quilters Studio Time

Open studio sessions for the quilters are on Mondays from 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. and Thursday evenings 7 – 10 p.m.

The Oxford quilters guild meets on the first Wednesday of the month from 7 – 9 p.m. and the first Thursday of the month from 9:30 a.m. – 12 noon (Sept. – June)

Programs vary at these meetings to include speakers, projects and sometimes trunk shows.

We are thrilled to tell you that we have secured a facility for a fall retreat and I think you will be as excited as we are.

Included are two nights’ accommodations in this first class hotel. Huge main floor sewing room that has one full wall of floor to ceiling windows with direct access to the outside parking lot to allow easy unloading of all sewing equipment and luggage. Elevator and washrooms are in the hallway just steps away. Access to this room is as early as 9 am. on Friday till 5 pm on Sunday for a full 3 days of sewing. All meals will be served on our private Porch Room that is directly off the hotel’s dining room and will include dinner on Friday, 3 meals on Saturday and Sunday will be the hotels famous Sunday Brunch. We will be given vouchers to take to the dining room that will allow us to order both lunch and dinner from the 3 specials that the hotel dining room offers. I can assure you no one will go hungry and the opportunity to choose is a great option.


The hotel has a beautiful pool/ hot tub and gym right off the main lobby. Three quilt shops are close. Shakespeare’s The Quilt Place, Stratford’s Ye Olde Fabric Shoppe, and St. Mary’s Hyggeligt Fabrics. Plus all the wonderful little shops in Stratford that would take you all weekend to check out.
