Beginner’s Wheel – Tuesdays – 8 weeks

Class Filled!
This is your chance to learn a new craft, make a Christmas gift and have fun! Be prepared to get dirty. The goal of this class will be to throw a cylinder comfortably, try your hand at a mug, vase or bowl, and have fun. Pottery tools will be available from your instructor for $15.00 if needed.

Surface Treatment for Clay Sculptures
During this workshop participants will learn to work with various colouring mediums in applying a patina to a finished piece of sculpture. Everyone should bring colouring mediums that they would like to use, ie. coloured pencils watercolours and oil paints.

Hand Building – Mondays
Participants will learn various methods of hand building with clay, gradually building from simple to more advanced work. Project ideas are available or if you have an idea you want to try, we will try to facilitate it. Class is suitable to various levels of skill. Come on out and learn to have fun with clay in a supportive and enjoyable learning environment!
