Alayne Brisson Biography
I have been photographing since I was teen, over the past two decades building my knowledge and improving my skills behind the lens as well as in post-processing. I enjoy capturing the beauty of life, photographing many subjects and styles. I love to teach others and share experiences while continually learning from those around me. In the past 5 years I have been growing my photography business, ARB Photography, and became a workshop and travel host with Photo Tour Trekkers.
I have presented at and taught workshops to multiple camera clubs, at Bayfield Fall Foto Fest and youth groups, with the idea that to learn your camera you need to use it. Through these opportunities as well as travelling with other photographers I have created lasting friendships with like-minded people. I enjoy using post-processing to create artistic images and sell my photography at multiple retail locations and through gallery shows. I am currently a member of the Woodstock Camera Club, Tillsonburg Station Arts Centre, Ingersoll Creative Arts Centre, Oxford Creative Connections, CAPA, past president of Tillsonburg Photography Club, and is training to be an Ontario Council of Camera Clubs (O3C) judge.

Bruce Hartley, Photographic Artist– Biography

Pursuing his passion for photography and travel, Bruce invites the viewer to see the world through his lens, whether the photograph was taken some place far away or just around the corner. He is motivated to capture a particular moment in time or a sense of place that in turn will speak to others.

His work has often been selected for juried exhibits at the Glenhyrst Art Gallery and the Visual Elements Exhibit at the Woodstock Art Gallery. His work can be found here in the gift store as well as at various local venues through Oxford Creative Connections. Bruce is a regular participant in the annual members’ show and a regular exhibitor on the Oxford StudioTour.

Currently on exhibit at the Station Arts Centre in Tillsonburg, Bruce has a body of his work coupled with ceramic art by his wife, Ruth. “Complementary Visions” runs from August 28 – September 25, 2020.

Bruce was a founding member of the Oxford Photographic Arts Guild and is a long time member of the Woodstock Camera Club and Oxford Creative Connections. He also holds membership with the Ingersoll Creative Arts Centre and the Woodstock Art Gallery.

Artist’s Statement

It is a pleasure for me to submit a selection of landscape photographs for this exhibit. As we find our way forward in this uncertain time, the natural world with its beauty, trails and waterways has provided us with opportunities for renewal and relaxation.

"The earth is art. The photographer is only a witness." Yann Arthus-Bertrand
